Hardwood is the only flooring material you can sand down and refinish. A properly installed set of red oak floors in a 1970s South Tampa bungalow can look brand new after refinishing — for maybe the third or fourth time. The installation itself is more involved than most people realize. Subfloor condition matters enormously — squeaky subfloor means squeaky hardwood. Moisture is the other factor. Tampa's humidity means wood needs to acclimate before going down, and sometimes the subfloor needs a moisture barrier. Marco checks all of this at the estimate. He's seen what happens when you skip those steps.

We install solid hardwood (nailed or stapled to wood subfloors), engineered hardwood (glued or floated, works on concrete), and pre-finished boards in every species from standard red oak to hickory, maple, Brazilian cherry, and everything in between.
