The 2-Year Labor Warranty — What It Covers and What It Means
Every Precision Floors installation comes with a 2-year warranty on workmanship. Not fine print — Marco backs his work directly.
Marco Signs His Name on Every Job — That's the Warranty
The 2-year labor warranty on every Precision Floors project isn't a marketing line. It means if a floor board starts squeaking in year one because the subfloor prep wasn't right, Marco comes back and fixes it. If a tile pops up because the thinset had a problem, he comes back and fixes it. No charge, no argument about whose fault it is.
His cell number is on the warranty card. That's deliberate. He's not routing warranty calls through a call center or making you track down a subcontractor. You call Marco.
What the 2-Year Labor Warranty Covers
Installation Defects
Boards that loosen, tiles that crack from improper setting, squeaks from inadequate subfloor prep. If it's an installation issue, it's covered.
Grout or Caulk Failures
Grout cracking or caulk failing within two years of installation. Normal wear in high-traffic areas may not qualify — Marco will assess honestly.
Trim and Transition Issues
Baseboards pulling away, transition strips coming loose, or threshold issues from installation.
What's Not Covered
- Damage from flooding, standing water (beyond normal splash), or plumbing leaks
- Normal wear and tear in high-traffic areas
- Scratches, dents, or stains from use
- Issues caused by structural movement of the building itself
- Changes you make after installation (removing boards, sanding without our guidance)
Material warranties are separate from labor warranty and come from the manufacturer — typically 15-25 years for quality flooring products. Marco can provide material warranty documentation for your specific product.
