The Guy Who Shows Up — Not Just the Guy Who Estimates

Marco started in flooring at 19, working summers with his uncle. By 2014 he had enough jobs saved up and a crew he trusted, so he went out on his own. His wife Diana handles scheduling and client communication. Between the two of them, they've been in roughly 1,500 Tampa-area homes.

The part that still surprises homeowners: Marco actually shows up to the job site. Not just for the estimate — every day, on every project. He's the one checking the substrate before the first board goes down. He's the one who notices when a subfloor is soft in the corner of the kitchen.

He's licensed (CBC1265847), bonded, insured, and backs everything with a 2-year warranty on labor. You're not calling a 1-800 number if something goes wrong — you're calling Marco directly.

★★★★★

"Marco redid our kitchen floor and two bathrooms. He walked through the whole plan with us before starting, brought samples to the house, and finished right on schedule. The tile work in the master bath is gorgeous. Already recommended him to two neighbors."

"We got three quotes for hardwood floors throughout the house. Marco wasn't the cheapest but he showed up with a whole presentation — samples, a 3D layout, timeline. The other guys just measured and left. His crew was clean, fast, and the floors look incredible."

"The LVP in our kitchen and living room looks like real wood — people still ask. Marco explained every option, never pushed the expensive stuff, and his crew finished our 1,400 sq ft in three days. Exactly what he said it would cost. No surprises."

How a Precision Floors Project Actually Goes

Most contractors make you guess. We lay out the whole thing upfront so you know what's happening and when.

1

In-Home Estimate

Marco comes to your place — usually within a few days. He measures, checks the existing floor, and talks through what you're actually trying to accomplish. Free, no pressure.

2

3D Design & Quote

For remodel jobs, you get a 3D rendering before anything gets approved. You see exactly how it'll look. Quote is itemized — materials, labor, timeline. No vague estimates.

3

Installation

Marco's six-person crew shows up when they say they will. Marco's on site daily. Subfloor issues get caught early. Daily cleanup — your house doesn't look like a construction zone overnight.

4

Walk-Through & Warranty

Marco walks the finished job with you before he calls it done. You sign off. He hands you the 2-year labor warranty card and his cell number. That's it.

Things Tampa Homeowners Ask Before Hiring

For an average home — say 1,200 to 1,800 square feet — figure 2 to 3 days. That includes prep, acclimation time if needed, installation, and trim work. Larger homes or tricky layouts (lots of transitions, angled rooms) add a day or two. Marco gives you a specific timeline during the estimate, and we stick to it.

We move standard furniture — couches, beds, dressers, dining tables. We can't move pianos, gun safes, or appliances that need disconnecting. We'll go over that at the estimate so there are no surprises on day one. We move everything back when we're done too.

Hardwood is real wood — it can be refinished 4 or 5 times over its lifetime, adds resale value, and has a warmth that's hard to fake. LVP is engineered vinyl that looks very close to hardwood but handles moisture better and costs less. For Tampa homes with tile concrete subfloors, LVP is often the smarter call. For second floors or dry areas where budget allows, hardwood is worth it. Marco will walk you through both options with samples in hand.

Not necessarily. The crew works in sections and tries to leave one clear path through the house. For refinishing jobs there's a 24-hour window where you'll want to be out (the finish fumes aren't pleasant), but for installation you can typically stay home. A lot of Marco's clients work from home during the project — it's possible, just louder than usual.

Tampa is home base, but the crew covers Brandon, Riverview, Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Land O'Lakes, New Tampa, Carrollwood, South Tampa, Hyde Park, and Davis Islands. Basically within 35-40 miles of our Brandon showroom. If you're in the 813 area code, we probably come to you.
